Behind the Seams: 'Borrowed Dreams' Bridal Collection

As always romance is in the air here at the Natalie Chan atelier, as we put the finishing touches on our newest bridal collection. This season we are channeling mystical thoughts, where both darkness and light exist and the Natalie Chan bride is bewitched by her surroundings.

This full collection will be shown at Wild Hearts Wedding Fairs,-a wedding fair concept like no other, the team at Wild Hearts is made up of creative souls and dreamers, who aim to gather other like minded wedding vendors to host an unforgettable and inspiring showcase. We will be on the runway at both the Christchurch and Auckland events, as well as having a stall at the Auckland fair, you can purchase your tickets here, and we can't wait to show you what we have been working on.

Here are some behind the scenes images of creating the range, and you can see a few early releases of the designs here

    Styled Shoot: Maori Bay

The amazing Jonny Scott photographed this dark, moody and romantic shoot at Maori Bay near Muriwai in Auckland, New Zealand using one of our most dramatic pieces-our voluminous black tulle skirt with a long train. Jonny loves using natural landscapes in his shoots and we agree that it makes for the most breathtaking photos.

    Bridesmaids Collection

The Natalie Chan bridesmaids collection encompasses styles that are imbued with a timeless and charming romance. Beautiful seperates such as a lace top or structured camisole can be matched with a flowing floor length skirt or a short tulle number, alternatively you may opt for a darling gown design in identical or complementary colours. Brides-to-be can choose from a large variety of colour options to suit their special day, that is the beauty of choosing the bespoke jounrey.  Designed with verstaility, these pieces will be a great addition to one's everyday wardrobe long after the occasion.
