Ladies at the Australian 'Polo in the City', image from here
Auckland's BMW Polo Open is fast approaching and we love nothing more then scouring the internet for outfit inspirations! Polo attire takes on a more relaxed approach then say the races, silhouettes are looser and midi and maxi lengths are often embraced. Ladies often accessorize with boater or wide brim hats and statement sunglasses as sun protection is vital for a full day out in the sun, wedge heel are also advised so one doesn't sink into the grass!
Shirt dresses are hugely popular at the races, they look effortlessly pulled together and chic.
Stylish friends! We love the ear cuff on the left as well as their co-ordinated hats.
Rebecca Judd looking effortlessly chic in an off shoulder lace number, note the short pencil lining with longer midi length.
Another shirt dress, this time in black.
Shirt and skirt (or in this case shorts) combos work well, we love the faint horse print on blouse on the left!
This sweet eyelet lace dress is a perfect match for a day out in the sun.
We love these cute flats!
Early trendsetters have been seen adapting the longer length demure hemlines as seen here worn by designer Roksand Ilincic.
We love this quirky print on print outift as worn so effortlessly by Julia Restoin Roitfield.
A stylish duo ready for a fun day!
