Natalie Chan, one of the most renowned milliners in New Zealand has been in the millinery industry for over 10 years. In the early years she was first self-taught then went abroad and has trained with some of the top milliners in Australia such as Neil Gregg, Serena Lindeman and Louise MacDonald to name a few. Natalie’s work has been featured in fashion, lifestyle and bridal magazines of New Zealand, celebrities have worn her millinery designs, her designs has appeared in campaigns and numerous clients have won awards whilst wearing a Natalie Chan headpiece.
You will be taught by Natalie and one of her experienced atelier ladies, who will be on hand to assist you with your creations. Natalie has years of industry knowledge and extensive experience and she looks forward to sharing her knowledge and skills with you.
Create your own bohemian headpiece/belt by learning the techniques of using an embroidery hoop along with Natalie, who will guide you with designing the layout and techniques of the cutting and sewing of the lace and embellishments. There will be an abundant selection of exclusive laces to choose from, from Chantilly to corded, beaded and un-beaded, in shades of white, ivory or champagne. We will then have a small tea/coffee and sweet treat break which we provide for you, before you carry on with the creative workshop. You will leave with your finished design in a Natalie Chan gift box as well as a gift bag.

Full payment must be received to secure your place in all workshops. Most workshops have limited numbers and places will be issued on a first come first serve basis (only once full payment has been received).
We require classes of a minimum of 6 registered students. If there are less than 6, we may cancel the workshop. If so, all registered students will be contacted and workshop fees will be fully reimbursed.
If for any reason you need to cancel your attendance, please notify us immediately. The following fees will apply if you make a cancellation;
- More than 10 business days prior to the start of the workshops, no cancellation fee will apply and the full payment will be refunded.
- Within 3-10 business days prior to the start of the workshops, a $20 cancellation fee will apply and the remaining payment will be refunded (unless a replacement can be found then the full payment will be refunded)
- Within 48 hours prior to the start of the workshops, the full workshop fee will apply and NO refund will be provided (unless a replacement can be found then the full payment will be refunded).
